We would like to extend a big thank you to all the riders who supported us on the day and made it the great success that it was.

It takes a lot for a day like this to be a success. First and foremost we need a great bunch of competitors. This we had - the cooperation they gave to organizers and their sportsmanship were awesome. Congratulations to all riders

We also need a huge number of people firstly to organize the day and then do the many tasks required just to set up the day.

The workers who helped set up the rings, those who helped make the grounds look so presentable, people preparing food either for the canteen or for the officials. Every one of these things is a piece of the jigsaw that makes the day a success.

And what about the ribbons? Weren't they great. Well done Tina for organizing these.

So a big thanks to the organizing committee and everyone who worked tirelessly leading up to the event itself.

Without you, our children would not have the great experience that they had.

On the day, we again had many helpers. Runcorn filled 4 of the official positions on the day and every other function from Gear Check to Gate Steward, Pencillers , Carparkingand of course doing the Nominations, draw and scoring.

And let’s not forget the Canteen and the dining experience offered to the officials of the day. This is always a big ask and I believe we have all come through with flying colours and should be very proud of the club that we belong to.

Behind the scenes was Delma who made sure we did not forget the little things that make the day superb. Delma, you always think of the kids and keep us focused - thank you.

One mark of a good club is what happens after the event. Here we excelled! There were so many people at the end of the day who got in and packed everything up. We were all tired - it had been a long weekend, but we all enthusiastically packed up and left the grounds looking immaculate.

Finally, a huge thanks to our President. You all know who he is. The effort that you put into this (and everything else you do in the club) is an inspiration to us all, and we are all so much the richer for both your effort and inspiration. Thank you very much, John, and may you continue to do so for many years to come (please...................)

From all the smiles I saw at the end of the day, I think we can say that it was once again a very successful event
