Club update – May
Hi All,
Another busy weekend at the pony club, and congratulations on a well run day.
Thanks to Nick for organising the day. Although it was quite miserable weather we still had very good numbers. We had quite a good number of our riders competing and some were completing for the very first time, so well done to you all. Thank you to all who helped over the weekend. It was also great to see some of our younger members stepping up and helping through out the weekend with set up on Saturday, Katelyn did a great job pencilling, Iman took over gate steward job and Sharnie and Zubeyda were an asset in the canteen.
We were also fortunate to be able to provide a professional photographer: Terry Tse, for the riders throughout the day. Also thank you to Terry for the beautiful canvass of our riders at the ANZAC Day parade.
This weekend is the Zone 1 show jumping championships at Moggill so good luck to any Runcorn riders competing. If you are at a loose end, wander out and cheer on our riders
On a very sad note, our thoughts and prayers go out to the family and friends of Caitlyn Fischer who died in a tragic accident whilst eventing on the weekend. #rideoncaitlynfischer#
Next upcoming event at the Pony Club is our Muster on Sunday 22nd of May so lets get as many riders there as possible for a great day!!
Happy Riding
Cathy
